I have visited the Skelmorlie Aisle with its painted roof and that's well worth a visit.Marie Macphersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10906943465845474431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-839525549786745818.post-51298669363367350922014-07-23T16:26:16.133+01:002014-07-23T16:26:16.133+01:00It's on my long list of *must visits*!It's on my long list of *must visits*!Catherine Curzonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05763562687608837832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-839525549786745818.post-1908567052831302992014-07-23T13:46:55.831+01:002014-07-23T13:46:55.831+01:00The graveyard where Brisbane is buried is pretty n...The graveyard where Brisbane is buried is pretty near to where I live. It's well worth a visit, there are many old and notable grave stones there. It sits hidden away in the middle of Largs, right next to Skelmorlie Aisle, which houses the tomb of Sir Hugh Montgomerie who fought for Scotland at the Battle of Otterburn. It's definitely a very interesting place for anyone interested in local (and international) history.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
